ST. THOMAS AQUINAS HALL

The Hall To Be

St. Thomas Hall

St. Thomas Aquinas Hall is among the four male halls of St. Ambrose College of Education which is located in the Dormaa East District of the Bono Region of Ghana. The Hall is named after St. Thomas Aquinas who was one of the greatest saints of the Roman Catholic Church. He lived from 1225 to 1274. H was an Italian Dominican friar and priest, an influential philosopher, a theologian and jurist.

Since St. Ambrose College of Education is a Catholic Institution, it is not a surprise that this Great Hall is named after one of the greatest saints of the Catholic Church. 28th January is St. Thomas Aquinas feast day. The Hall celebrates its annual hall week at that period in honor of the patron saint.

The Hall Tutor Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Okrah took charge of the hall in 2022 when the hall tutor, Mr. Justice Owusu Ansah left St. Ambrose College of Education on study leave.
